My name is Zach and I write words that sell.

Like most people, I’ve been a lot of things in my life—from social media intern to session cellist to wedding MC. But chances are, if you’re here, it’s because you need help with words that sell. It could be as simple as updating your landing page copy into your customer’s voice, or as complicated as rebuilding your personas and the engagement programs you use to score them into MQLs. But whatever the lingo you use to wrap around, at the end of all the sprints and strategy it still comes down to a very, very simple interaction: your lead, reading something someone wrote. And when that happens, you need words that sell. Words that they understand, that communicate the benefit of your product in a cohesive framework that leads to the right next action.

That could look like a lot of things. It could look like more leads in your pipeline, or more site duration on your home page. But mostly, it should look like the end goal: more happy customers putting more dollars in your bank account.

MEET THE TEAM

ZACH BOYD

Yup, it’s me. A college drop out turned marketing professional with an insatiable curiosity and intense love for chicken wings. I’m convinced that anyone can deliver great results if they’re willing to stay humble, curious, and do great work. I’m known for less-than-conventional work habits, like reading at my desk and doing everything I can to avoid being in meetings before lunch, all driven my desire to be the person who delivers the results.

I’m an avid believer that the people who made the rules are no smarter than you, so if you’re willing to be humble enough to learn what they learned then you can join the conversation with the greats. For me, that means putting a high priority on what’s important over what is urgent—and making sure the things that are important never become urgent.

When I’m not scheming up my next subject line or PR campaign, I’m probably on the road, playing guitar with King’s Kaleidoscope. Or you can find me trying to fix up my 1982 Honda Motorcycle after getting my ass handed to me on the mat at Jiu Jitsu.
